Coach Ernie Kent returns a team capable of making a run to the Final Four. Duck fans, are you ready to root your team on as they fight through a tough Pac 10 and deep into March? With a talented a roster as you'll find, Coach Kent has his team in a great position to be major players in deciding who wins the NCAA Championship. The four players returning—from a team that lost the eventual National Champions last year—that give Oregon such a strong chance are Bryce Taylor, Tajuan Porter Malik Hairston, and Maarty Leunen.

These four give the Ducks a formidable scoring quartet and are as athletic as any team in the country. If they receive some consistent post play, Oregon will be one of the toughest teams in the Pac 10. A great deal of the post play success depends on freshman Frantz Dorsanvil. Dorsanvil is expected to challenge for the starting position at either the power forward or the center position. If he performs up to his billing, the Ducks will have as good of a starting five as any team in the country.

Perhaps the biggest challenge for Coach Kent will be getting his talented players to play together. There are times that loaded rosters have a tendency to freelance. If the Duck players buy into Coach Kent's style, they will be a load for opponents to deal with. Considering last year, there's good reason for Duck fans to believe this team can do what's expected of them. Of course, a strong fanbase rooting them on gives the team even more firepower.
